Trip To Miriam's Wishing Well In Someone's Backyard Someplace

Out into a garden, a pumpkin patch, a place with park benches and trees, a search for an existence beyond the mundane, picking pumpkins and smashing them on porches, writing graffiti on stop signs to change the world, singing songs with audiences at local pubs to influence the masses, writing words on blogs that are accessible to the entire world, what is the struggle? Not enough pumpkin pie to go around on thanksgiving, not enough turkeys, open mouths but no one eating, laughing after food goes down, rejoicing, pumpkins feeding squirrels, seeds a plenty but not growing, holidays that are not holy days, wanting to win but refusing to pay taxes on the prize. Gambling but not accepting the stash, dreidels spinning off tables and not enough chocolate to go around. Hoping she saves the world as I save her. Being a side-kick, for a joke never said. Wishing will not pay the bills, but it will when there are no bills to be paid. My Wishing Well is just like hers.
