Traveling to A-PLACE-WHERE-I-HAVE-NEVER-BEEN-BEFORE. To escape the boredom of routine, the mundane, the sameness, I am traveling today to a place, any place, where I have never been before. Purposely taking a wrong turn to see an environment that I never have seen, to taste a food there that I have never tasted before, to see people who have never before been in my life. To feel the unfamiliar, the different, to become stimulated with unsureness, to doubt, to mistrust, to be careful, to watch my step, to take caution, to map out directions, to not know where I am going or where I will end up. To not know the way home. To be at home wherever I am, even if I am in a place where I never had been, to make the street my home, to observe all the sites, absorbing the unpredictability of it all. To feel lost. To feel like G-d is my guide, and only He will take me to a safe place. To know that G-d is "Macomb" a safe place, the place, a one and only place where He abides, and to know this is everywhere. To see what I have never experienced before, to try something new. To see a stranger and become his friend in respectful passing. To understand the wonders of the world by feeling those wonders everyday as I gaze upon their newness. To have thrills, and to get excited. To feel free and uncaged. To be nowhere, that is everywhere. To enjoy every minute of it.
