Wishing today to be in A- PLACE-WHERE-THERE-IS-NO-THIRST. A wet place where yes, there is water, water everywhere, but most of all there is water upon my tongue and deep down into my gut, whetting every molecular cell in my body, every organ--so that my lips are never dry--needing no more chapstick, no more searching for the closest water fountain, never needing to look hopelessly, helplessly, everywhere for a cool clear pure drink of water or a cup. Needing water, in multitudinous amounts, sip after sip after sip. To drench the cotton-mouthed sensation inside my mouth, to drown the skin, to circulate the saliva, to wet the stomach lining, and cool the parched throat. Wanting showers of cool drinking water stuffed into my mouth so I never have to carry another drinking glass, never have to stop at a drive-thru for a Coke. In hot weather and cool weather, my taste for water would be satisfied, I would never be thirsty again because I would be in A-PLACE-WHERE-THERE-IS-NO-THIRST.
