Traveling to a morning Shakarit service led by a great resounding Cantor and consisting of 10 other Jewish members, all davening together in unison, bowing and bending, heaving one's body to the movement of the universe, back and forth, to and fro, feeling the movement of one's body together with the movement of the tree branches and leaves outside your Chapel window, seeing all things as one, all things as an inspiration from G-d, not looking for human muses, instead getting all inspiration from the Divine.
Hebrew words of beauty, words like Chasid, Adonai, tefillah, ratzon: healing words that speak of honesty, mercy, truth, goodness, righteousness, all words sung not just spoken, a running stream of great words of beauty, stimulation, gentle meditation, soothing peaceful words, like a lullaby that put you to sleep as a baby, your mother's teachings, your father's disciplines, home sweet home in every phrase.
A moment of silence that brings all to a peaceful end but keeping all tunes in one's memory as the day goes by..
