On a path to paradise, a place where food, which foods, how they are cooked, how tasty they are, and how expensive they are, has no bearing on me and does not tempt me to eat for the sake of taste.
To use all my abilities instead to be tempted by spiritual goodness not by foods. To eat for sustenance to keep from being hungry. To eat for holiness, to eat all kosher foods and only kosher foods. Not to salivate at foods that have a beautiful appearance, not to be tempted by their luring but unhealthy beauty.
Not to eat sugar just because it is sweet. Not to eat salty products like potato chips, etc. that raises one's blood pressure. Keeping a healthy heart and only eating foods that are good to the body. Not letting in wickedness through a food that hurts the body. Keeping rich fancy foods away from my menu, eating to fill myself up so I am not hungry, not to savor a taste that does not satisfy the soul.
Asking the Almighty G-d for guidance and help to exit the material world and enter His spiritual world. Keeping all my desires pointed in His direction, to wish for goodness and holiness, not to be overstuffed with foods. Not to use foods as a way to have happiness, instead thanking G-d, praising G-d, and accepting His love as a daily meal. Loving Him back, steering all your love towards Him and the commandments that bring you heavenly happiness, not the empty material.
