GOING HOME FOR THANKSGIVING

Image result for HOME ON THANKSGIVING

Home on Thanksgiving, where is "home"? Is "home" the place, any place you are now where you live? Or is there a deeper meaning to "Home" a place where you wish to be but cannot be there, maybe your actual "Home" does not even exist anymore. Home being the place where you grew up and were a child in this home with the company of your siblings, a place where you were with your Mom and Dad. Is this what and where "Home" really is?

To be in a state of being, where you no longer can go "back" to your home, your real home, where you grew up, a Home of your Mom and Dad. This place being somewhere in the back of your imagination, only to exist when you remember it. A place where you and your family would drink hot tea on a cold day around the kitchen table, a place where you all had your own assigned chairs at this table, a place where you were with your Mom and she served you this comforting hot drink.

A new identity, to be now considered a widow or divorcee, or someone who is fatherless or motherless, an identity of an orphan, to must be in a place that is not really your Home, but instead is a place where you live, a place where you live as a home that is not your "childhood home." Not being anymore a "child" so not having access to this home, this home maybe not in existence anymore, instead to be in a place as a substitute for your real home, a place without a Mom or Dad, maybe now you yourself are that Mom or Dad, and you too have your own kids, but raising them in their childhood home which is not YOUR childhood home.

Going "HOME" for Thanksgiving?? Where is home?
