Journey of Independence and Interdependence

Strolling along to a pond, a lagoon, a stream, a river, an ocean, every bit of land is an island: Islands uninhabited no one speaking just vegetation and animals beaches and sand dunes. Waking up when the sun goes down, as it sets in the sky blood begins to flow, nightlife comes out, people walking slyer, more cautious in the night, tip-toeing. Soundless steps, wordless sentences, no interference of thought patterns, freely flowing like waters as they fall and bubble. Bubbles not bursting same day after day, regulated, regular, around and around we go. Excitement starts when I walk in.

Clapping as in the Hebrew Psalms, toasting and shouting L' Chaim! Breathing the blessings. Looking up and gazing at stars not streetlights, not alleys, not garbage trucks, not casinos, not trash, not even a speck of dirt in eye view. No cars on streets, no car accidents, not filling a gas tank eternally, not worried about towing or ticketing speeding or repairs. Not needing to go anywhere, everything's right at home.

Minding the temple of the soul everyday, reading The Jewish Book of Days, attending egalitarian minyans, living life according to own choices and own ethics. Independence plus interdependence equals a circumference of a well rounded lifestyle. Spinning when I want to spin, brakes working not underwater, no thunder storming, dinner on table everyday, predictability, backed up, completed, every door open, breathing's fine. Halleluyah!
