The Imaginary Travels of Gulliver

The imaginary travels of Gulliver: no jet lag, air pressure stable, no cab fares to and from airports, living in Israel at home. Will you travel to Israel? I am Israel, we are all Israel. Hearing praying at the Wailing Wall millions of miles away, seeing Moses in my mind's eye, pork meat not getting through the door, watching the poor fed everyday. Quietly, not roaring like a lion, lambs who are people: not eating lamb with caraway seeds, goats who never move, finding a permanent home. Books read over and over again with new knowledge every time, softness of feet: padding but not on carpets, no dust collection no sneezing. Small mirrors showing beauty of princesses, dogs not barking, cats not scratching, music not noxious, headaches that do not need aspirin, Internet access without Starbucks, airplanes flying above quietly with super sonic jets: silence. Shabbat comes in bits and pieces during the weekdays, donning Tefillin and Tallit everyday brings it in, and slowly keeps me breathing all day, every day.
