What are the qualities that I am looking for in a perfect loving relationship? How do I see what characteristics someone would need to possess to meet my needs. What do I see as a perfect person. In other words, what is G-d like? If I were to meet G-d on a street corner, how would I know it was Him? What do I think I would find if I met G-d. What characteristics would He have so I would know it was Him?
I would be walking along a path with hatred and disappointment everywhere, ugliness all over, nothing beautiful to see or hear, birds not singing but instead screaming for food, yellow withering grass on lawns of houses that are falling apart--but then, all of a sudden, lo and behold! In the distance along my path I would see a bright yellow light!
This light would be reachable, something I could attain, not too far away, my skin on my face would tighten as I looked at this light, as if just being splashed with an astringent, my face would be shining like a star, as it becomes reflective of the warm bright soothing promising yellow light in the not-too-far distance.
An angel would appear to me. This angel coming out of a mist would bring me a message from G-d. G-d would not be visible, I could not look on His great essence, because it would burn me up in an instant, as a burning bush that destroyed the Golden Calf. This angel tells me, what G-d is like, what He is and who He is, the angel wants me to know what a perfect person or essence would be.
The angel says to me, G-d is wonderful, terrific, an incredible blessing, an extraordinary being, not a being at all, but truly the essence of all things that are beautiful, He is a rose in bloom, the smell of a perfume in a dirty place, He is a piece of clothing that makes one feel dressed up, He is your agile fingers as they continue to type letters to your family, He is so super, He is just everything you always wanted, He is the lightness in the darkness, He is a nighttime of full sleep, He is waking up refreshed, He is the taste of mint tea on your palate, He is a prepared kosher meal on your plate, He is so much, He is everything in the world that you are thankful for.
Have you ever met G-d? G-d is in your presence right now, at this very moment, He is everything you ever wanted Him to be. He is attainable. He is yours to love and cherish in good times and in bad times. He is yours forever, and there is no end, there is no end to forever, it goes on and on and so His love for you will go on and on. G-d is everything, right now. Exactly in all places, He is, was, and will be. Selah.
