Traveling today to THE-PLACE-WHERE-SHAKARIT-PRAYERS-ARE-SUNG.
At a Reform Jewish morning service and we are singing a song for Miriam and all the women are dancing! She is a woman of spirit and she dances for the light, following Miriam who is playing on timbrels, singing louder and louder, dancing higher and higher kicks!
Guitar music playing, strumming on strings, bringing us light and strength, opening doors that connect us to the presence of The Holy One, everything depends on G-d, and everything depends on us. Tikkun Olam.
Keep these morning prayers on your lips, declare praise to Him, open your lips: and say ADONAI. And say Baruch Atah Adonai. And say Avraham and Sarah. Feel the flow of these words, bow and bow again. Stand up and speak the Amidah. Sing all things, sing all day, bow all day.
Pianos playing and Hebrew words lighting up a dark night, sun's rising in the east, always in the east.
Kadosh, kadosh, kadosh! We have something to depend on! To grasp, to happen again and again, something stable, something predictable. Not like a telephone that is out of order, but a praise to G-d from our lips, speaking upwards, speaking eastwards, dor v' dor, [generation after generation].
Halleluyah.
