EXPERIENCING MOUNT SINAI FROM OUR PAST LIVES

Traveling to a powerful public place in a distance, a place further than far away that is right next door, a location up a holy hillside, a Mount Zion, a Mount Sinai, a mountaintop that our eyes can gaze upon, a snowcap melting like chocolate in the warm sunlight, climbing hiking up its sides, walking cautiously upon its crags, sticking cleated boots into ice, hearing the calling of the wild and responding to it with a yelp cry saying "Shekinah!"

Seeing a burning bush in one's side vision, being there in a past life, in a crowd watching Moses take down the tablets, long sackcloth tunics bare feet and sandals, the first temple congregation, the tablets become law.

Once upon a time in a past life, we were there to see it, to be in it, remember back to a former life when it all was real and it all happened.

Be there again, take it just as seriously, memorize the d'evarim: The Word, Take it to heart, sing to it, move your body in sways to it dancingly, call it your own in ownership.
