Going to a place where the imaginative and unusual is everywhere, a place that can only exist when and where you want it to exist, a place that is nowhere in reality, but is like a movie of the theater everywhere you go, special effects and actions that are impossible, but have come true for you no matter where you look.
To imagine fireworks and to then see fireworks, to have special powers to visualize, to envision, to have an image in your memory and to imagine it at will.
To see your birth Father again after he has been dead for 26 years, to imagine him on your childhood home couch and snacking on a piece of fruit. What would he say to you if he came back from the dead? Imagine that he would say, "Wow! Am I ever proud of you!" To see his smile again as his lips slowly turn up and gaze at you with a warm friendly loving countenance which you return with a smile back. To ask him to go to G-d and to ask G-d to protect the others in your family who are still alive. Imagining all this as a possibility, a dream come true.
G-d visits His beloved in their sleep, so when you close your eyes, if you are a fatherless child, remember your dear ol' Dad and go to him and ask him to help you as he helped you when he was alive. A loving memory of his kindnesses will come back to you and you will feel just as loved, just as warmed, just as cared for, as when he was alive. His spirit can lead your actions to be loving and affectionate with others as you had been with him.
Take your Father's teachings to heart and again be a daddy's girl and show love to others as if they were him, to recreate an environment of unconditional love, as it was between you and your Father.
Being lucky and blessed to have had this experience of unconditional love with your Dad that you can recreate and indulge in with your memory.
May his memory be for a blessing.
