THE PLACE OF FREE COFFEE

Going today to The Place Of Free Coffee. A place like a Starbuck's but not a drive thru, not a place where you have to stand in line, not a place of exorbitant prices, not to have a cup that is too hot to hold, to have a cup of coffee just as you like it, with or without sugar, with or without pure white cow's cream.

A fountain of coffee bursting upwards in a splash, all the coffee one needs to keep awake on a sleepy morning, decaf or regular, percolated coffee, dark brown grounds, coffee to tingle the tongue, to have an after-taste of coffee in one's mouth as a memory of its deliciousness.

Coffee that is cooked and serviced, not coffee one has to cook oneself. Coffee that comes in a clean cup and is stirred around and around, to mix the ingredients and to dissolve the cream into the coffee so all tastes just perfect.

To smell this gourmet coffee in the air as it cooks in its pot, the aroma filling one's nostrils and permeating the air, coffee as a smell not just a taste.

To sit with friends and to both drink this coffee, a coffee that is an accompaniment to a good conversation, holding this warmth in your hand as it comforts your lips, as you talk and laugh to your friend, as the coffee stimulates and excites, as your laughter in conversation causes you happiness, as the coffee becomes a friend as you are with your friends, drinking it together every morning, to always know where you will get your coffee, to always have coffee, to never be without this cup every morning, to not need to travel far to get a cup, to be with coffee and to have all cravings satisfied, to love coffee and to combine this love of it with the love of your morning friendships.

To be thankful to G-d Who protects you and always brings you coffee, always to have it and to never be without.
