A PLACE OF A LIBRARY OF WISDOM INSIDE YOUR MIND

Today I am traveling to a place of literacy, reading and readers, a place to study, a school atmosphere, a library, a place with a desk and reading lamp, and aisles of thousands of books, so many books from which to choose, a place that is a storage space that houses all my favorite titles, a place that smells like books, a place of brand new print that smells like a new book and yet a place of older books, a place that has a dusty musty smell of an older book, older books that are even "rare" books, books not found in popular collections, being in a private collection with only the best of books.

Climbing wooden ladders that have wheels to reach the top of a book shelf, to move the ladder to another shelf and to again reach to the very top of the shelf.

Books that are organized and catalogued, all in their proper place according to the Dewey Decimal System. Paperback books that are taped up and in good shape, pocket sized books to easily carry and open anywhere, huge books that have photographic pictures inside called "coffee table books" to open and admire the colors and images.

Being in a place that stores magazines and old newspapers, rattling the thick soft papers and skimming their content, looking for something to catch the eye, a news story to read and be entertained.

Leaving this place but taking with you as you leave the experience of having gained knowledge from the printed word, to be like a hard drive with new data that is in your brain, to be able to think of subjects and pull out new facts that you have just learned, to talk about these stories at a dinner table, to have an interesting story to tell, to enlighten someone with your wisdom, to teach, to show a Light of Truth to someone who is eager to learn.

To be like an open book yourself, to have a circular file of facts in your mind, opinions, and news on the tip of your tongue, to speak in a chant to bring calmness to your listener, to open someone's mind to your truths, and to listen and learn from them having a mutual interest in the subject matter.

Two brains connecting, sharing, feeling trusted and trusting, two brains traveling together on one path to "A Place of a Library of Wisdom Inside Your Mind."
