THE PLACE OF THE GUIDING LIGHT

Traveling to a place where there is true interest from someone who wants to know who I am and what I stand for, to talk to a person who has similar interests and has an inquisitive mind to know who I am, someone who wants information from me that I could give them so they can use my ideas to better their lives.

To not talk to someone who is arrogant and who just talks about themselves, their own interests, their own likes and dislikes, but to talk to someone who has a genuine interest in what I am doing and who I am, a person who wants to know from me how they can improve their lives as I see it, not to talk to someone who sees themselves as independent of any help I could offer them, to not be with someone who sees themselves as better or as more or as an authority to me or to my ideas, but instead to connect to someone who is wanting and willing to learn from me.

Someone who has desire and passion in their interests to talk to me, not someone who feels it is a waste of their time because they see themselves as being able to gain nothing from our conversation, that they somehow are above and beyond me, but in actuality this inequality does not exist, no one being better than the other, no one possessing a greater ability in any area than the other.

Instead being as ONE with each other, not to follow multiple gods, instead to follow only One G-d.

To let G-d decrease someone's inflated ego if they downgrade you, to pop their balloon of hot air. To not have a reaction to this oppression but to instead put it in G-d's Hands only, and to let Him work His magic.

To not let someone cause you problems where problems did not before exist. To continue to thank G-d for everything, for what you have that they do not, and to thank G-d for your generosity to be able to share what you have with someone even though they think they do not need what you have but instead that they have more than you but in reality do not.

To pray to G-d to forgive selfish people who only think of what they have and are not happy for you or for what you have.

To go to bed at night never wishing ill will upon another, to have a night of full sleep without holding a grudge, to put it all into the Hands of G-d and nurture yourself when there exists no nurturing from anyone else.

To see people who act selfishly as people who are ailing and in need of your good will instead of trying to squeeze milk from a rock.

To have a pleasant feeling as you are soaked in the abundance of sunlight from G-d's love and to pity those who are not.

To reach out to extend a friendship with those who are arrogant, selfish, and not nurturing, in hopes that your friendship with them will turn them around and instead they will become a person in whom one can count on and who provides society with a gift of goodness that is a gift that you taught to them.

To be the example, the mentor, the one who shines abundantly even in the most demonic of dark nights, to be a Star, a Star of David, to show someone a the path to Lightness and how to avoid the darkness.

To not only show someone else the Light when they otherwise are in the dark, but to actually be the cause of the Light, to be the Light itself, to shine on and to guide others toward The Truth.

Seeing The Truth as is written to us in The Torah, to not be recreating the wheel, but instead to turn a wheel that has a history going thousands of years back, to show someone how to move forward by looking backward.

To be the guiding Light with no effort, to believe in who you are and to give yourself respect instead of soliciting respect from others who are unable to provide it.

To be the nurturer of those who are thirsty, not to use the those who are thirsty themselves to provide you with what they do not have, to find your own water in the lakes provided to you by G-d Himself.

To drink up and nurture yourself and then to nurture others.
