MANY WAYS TO SAY HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO A JEW

How many ways can we say "Happy Holidays" to a Jew? And which Jewish Holidays in specific do we apply these greetings?

The Sages say there are 70 ways or faces to approach all Torah issues, all Talmud issues. And the Sages say that God has 50 names. We have much to choose indeed! Like a sweets table with all the cakes, cookies, and candies one can imagine available to eat!

What to say to a Jew at this time of the year? You wish to wish him well, you want him to know you honor and welcome him. You want him to know you acknowledge him as a fellow Jew, or if you are a Gentile, to make sure he knows you are on his side, the side of the Abraham and Sarah Almighty God. To in a time of celebration not war, you wish him the best. The best-est of the best, all good righteousness to be his and to go his way with love and respect and prosperity...

We say: Happy Holidays, Happy High Holidays, Happy High Holy Days, Happy New Year, Happy and Sweet New Year, Chag Sameach, Hag Sameah, Yom Tov, Chag Selichot Sameach, L' Shanah Tovah, Chag Rosh Hashanah Sameach, Chag Sukkot Sameach, Chag Shemini Atzeret Sameach, Chag Simchot Torah Sameach, Shabbat Shalom, Shavuah Tov, Mazal Tov, Rosh Chodesh Tov, L' Chaim, best wishes, best of blessings to go your way, good health, and whatever good you want for yourself to come true and happen after good health.

To be in a Synagogue Sanctuary Temple Chapel and while in there, to beckon God to Speak, to use Words of Torah, for these holy Words to be on one's tongue. To thankfully know what to say when and to always mean well.
